Jewish Healthcare International - Welcome

It’s an amazing story- one full time equivalent staff person engages hundreds of Jewish healthcare professionals, who then educate thousands of overseas healthcare professionals, who then provide improved healthcare to hundreds of thousands of people.

Some call that a ripple effect----We call it Jewish Healthcare International.

Jewish Healthcare International (JHI) was established in 1999 to enhance the quality of and increase access to healthcare services for vulnerable communities throughout the world. JHI brings together healthcare volunteers from both the Diaspora and Israel— a collaboration that provides long-lasting relationships, a commitment to the state of Israel, and a legacy of Tikun Olam, or repairing the world. JHI has primarily focused on the Former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and has a proven record of success helping thousands of impoverished members of the Jewish community gain access to healthcare while improving the quality of healthcare for the entire community.
