Jewish Healthcare International was created to enhance the quality
of and increase access to healthcare services for communities in
need throughout the world. This 501(c)3 non-profit organization
is supported by and collaborates with various North American Federations;
the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC); The Jewish
Agency (JAFI); Israel’s Health and Foreign Ministries; and
other organizations, foundations and individuals. JHI brings together
healthcare volunteers from both the Diaspora and Israel, a collaboration
that provides long-lasting relationships, a commitment to the state
of Israel, and a legacy of Tikun Olam, or repairing the
world.
